More than a jockstrap. VERSATILE combines elevated materials, a sculpted 3D Air Pouch, hidden storage, a removable Smart Lube Holster and thoughtful utility into one piece designed for wherever the night takes you.
01 Smart Lube Holster
Vegan leather that holds its shape better than the real thing, snapped onto the double waistband and off again in a second. Push the top with one finger and your lube is there — at the club, outdoors, or at home.
A novel snap-button system attaches and detaches the Holster from the Bearback-branded double waistband. To dispense, push the top of the Holster with one finger while pushing the nozzle up. To remove it, hold the snap on the waistband and gently pull the Holster from its back snap.
Your kit includes a full-size bottle of lube to fill and refill the 1oz BBA holster bottle that comes with it. For now that bottle is The Best Bator Lube Ever rather than Atmosphere.
Tap in
Two small pieces of hardware do it. One covers the snap when the Holster comes off. The other is a chip that hands someone your profile the second their phone touches it.
Bruce Button Stainless steel
Machined from stainless steel with a gun-metal finish and an embossed Bruce the Bear. Take the Holster off and the Button caps the bare snap on the waistband, so the jock still reads finished with nothing hanging from your hip.
Smart Holster NFC → TRIBE
An NFC chip sits inside the Holster. Someone taps their phone against it and your profile opens on their screen — they don't need an app, an account, or your number. You build that profile in the free TRIBE app, keep every Connection you make in one place, and switch sharing off whenever you want it off. TRIBE is the app now — it replaces the old BB NFC app, and the same Holster works with it.
02 Hidden phone pocket
Lose the fanny pack. The discreet pocket disappears into VERSATILE's double waistband while keeping your essentials close — and it fits an iPhone 15 Pro Max with room left over.
Pinch the waistband where the zipper starts and slide it across. Drop your phone, wallet or poppers through the top slit and go. At the end of the night, take your things out, fold the pocket upward and pull the zipper back.
Usable space is 7" wide × 3.5" tall, plus another 2" of height from the gap between the double waistband — 7" × 5.5" in total. It's built from strong sweat-resistant polyester, and the invisible zipper keeps the pocket from slipping down when it isn't in use.
03 3D Air Pouch
Breathable. Supportive. Sculpted.
3D mesh technology breathes without going sheer, and without the poke of ordinary mesh. A soft VPL strip runs down the center of the pouch for extra stretch where it counts.
04 Materials
A raised white rubber Bearback logo at the back, a raised Bruce the Bear symbol at the front. Fully vegan — no animal-derived materials anywhere on the piece, including the Holster.
Harness ready
A set of 1" D-rings sits inside the pouch, so your favorite harness attaches straight to the jock. Pair it with Bearback socks for the last detail.

Measure your hip circumference where the waistband sits, with a flexible tape — not your waist, and not the size of another brand's jock. Match that number to the main figure below. Between sizes and want more room? Size up.
The details
VERSATILE runs in sizes A through H, matched to hip circumference rather than a generic S–XL scale. Measure where the waistband lies with a flexible measuring tape and choose the size closest to your main number. Do not measure your waist, and do not assume your size from other jocks you own — the fit system is different.
Every size is produced in extremely limited stock, and stock cannot be reserved.
The VERSATILE jock in your selected size, the interchangeable Smart Lube Holster, a full-size bottle of lube — for now The Best Bator Lube Ever in place of Atmosphere — the 1oz BBA holster bottle with a refill funnel, the "Oh Snap!" jar containing the stainless steel Bruce Button, printed setup cards, and free access to the TRIBE app.
The Holster snaps to the double waistband via a custom Bearback snap system and lifts off when you don't want to carry lube — hold the snap on the waistband and pull the Holster from its back snap. The Bruce Button covers the snap hole when the Holster is removed.
The embedded NFC chip shares a digital profile you control from the TRIBE app. People who tap your Holster see a link on their phone whether or not they have the app, and can share their details back. Sharing can be switched off entirely at any time. The TRIBE app is included free with every VERSATILE order; setup instructions ship in the kit and in the in-app tutorial.
A signature is required for delivery on all VERSATILE orders.
No returns or exchanges are accepted on jockstraps or lubes. Optional Route Protection can be added at checkout to cover loss, theft or damage in transit; approved Route claims are resolved by Route with a replacement kit or a refund. Bearback does not send replacement orders outside of an approved Route claim.
